Dan, can you look at one thing on this list please? The link for the magnet mount doesn't work. And I couldn't figure out which one I needed. I ordered everything else.
Also, someone said to get the right connector? What connector?

There is a help session scheduled at 5:30 PM on Thursday May 7th before the SNOVARC meeting for those new to amateur radio. We will be there to answer questions and get you started making contacts.
We can cover any topic needed. Help with what to buy for a radio, what accessories do you need, how to program your radio, the protocols for making contacts, how to put up an antenna, or anything we can do help to get you started in this hobby.
For technician class licensees and the use of the radios for emergency communications I have attached a presentation for how the radios communicate. This will assist you in learning how to program the radios.
