Re: Club Logo
Rowland, if you can’t find the original hi-res art work, do we have the font names used? We could remake it if the original art can’t be found.

Club Logo
Does anyone remember who originally designed the current club logo? I know Ken added the mountains but we are not sure who did the original design without the mountains.
Thank You,

Roger what Rowland said.
It was only after a bunch of years that I got a small (500w) amp. Before I jump to 1500 watts, I'm working on improving my receive capabilities. Yes there is some expense

In my opinion slow down with the equipment purchases and get more training under your belt. That is a more affordable way to go also!
Thanks,
Rowland

Ryan - You're killin' me! This is a really cool small unit, especially for use in a go-box or emcomm back pack. IMHO It would have been perfect if it also had 220 as well. But...alas...no more units

Re: IC-705 anyone?
Luckily the 9700 price dropped like a rock. I've been seeing some go used for about $1500 now. I have a linear amp I'm saving for otherwise I'd be looking to see if I could find one used for 1200.

Yep. We’re about 2.1 miles apart. There’s a ridge in between us.
If I could get the antenna up 100 feet it would make it a lot easier for folks north of me to hit the repeater.

Hi all,
I do not have a 220 rig but turned my SDR dongle to it today at work station at Carnation Farms. No problem hearing with just tiny mag mount outside the building.

If you’re using the Btech tri-bander HT it’s specced at 4w 1.25m and 70cm.
But yeah, it looks like I can’t hear too well to the north. There’s a pretty big rise between you and me but I also
