That is one thing I was taught early on in my career. Before you go nuts troubleshooting an electronic problem in any device check the power source (cord).

Lou - totally agree. Setting it up manually was slow but a lightbulb finally went off as to how the scanner is set up and I learned the differences between Sytem, Departments, Sites and channels and

Lou is correct that the site that serves our area is Ring Hill.
However, in site trunking the simulcast goes away.

I think you're taking the long way of doing it. The Sentinel database has all that info in there.
Look at norcompic1.jpg (attached)
Open sentinel and make a favorites list. Then click
