I checked in to the Humboldt ARC digital net last night. The NCS station is based in Eureka, CA and I was picking him up passably well. There were other stations I could not copy.

Thanks Paul. I'll be listening to the Orca net tonight to identify if I can hear anyone and get an idea of how they run the net. Seems fairly straightforward.
I could share my screen if someone

I believe it was originally started by Gene Laughlin of the Carnation-Duvall Citizen Corps, under the name of CDARC (Carnation Duvall Amateur Radio Club. I would have to check on the year.

Digital nets
Given the recent interest in fldigi I thought I’d pass these on. These are HF nets, all of them pretty easy to hear/check in on 80m. All three use the fldigi/flmsg/flwrap/flamp suite.

Re: fldigi Zoom Class
I turn the knob on the radio, or more accurately, I use a memory location because most of the digital I do is off a repeater. That doesn't mean you can forgo rig control. I've had very little luck in

From what I understand, you can’t use HRD to do rig control for fldigi. Sorry.
I’ve been using fldigi for years without using flrig, just using either the built-in rigcat support or the built-in
