Hi All,

Let's all have an antenna party to prepare for Field Day.

Date: May 17th
Time: 10am until we finish
Place: My House  11405 W. Lake Joy Drive NE  Carnation.
Drive to Stillwater store/Chevron Station on 203 about two miles north of Carnation
Drive up the hill (Stillwater hill/Lake Joy Road)
It will turn into Kelly Road eventually
Continue past Big Rock road and over the bridge
Go 1/4 mile past bridge and take right turn onto Lake Joy Road
It will say dead end.......
Drive a few miles until you come to a LARGE sign that says
Welcome to Lake Joy.
At that sign go right.
We are the 4th driveway on the right.  It is an asphalt driveway
Our name and house number is on a sign at the bottom of the driveway.
Drive all the way back to the house.

If it is raining there is no problem as Iwe have a very large garage.

We will be updating the A3 with new hardware and building the frequency stubs.

Even if you have never worked on stuff like this come and learn.  That is what it is all about!!

I will be monitoring the 441.825 repeater PL 103.5 in case you get lost.
Or call the house at 425 788-8260.

Lunch will be provided (that should be incentive!).

Thanks,

Rowland

Sorry I couldn't make it. I really wanted to just so I could find out what "tabs"are ;) but the wife had already booked a mead tasting tour for us.

But I will definitely be participating in field day more this year. Even got a discone antenna at value village I wanted to try out today.
So I will have it ready for the field.

Notes:   Net meets on the Club Repeater.

441.825 + shift w/tone 103.5

If the 441 repeater fails then go to one of the following repeaters:

Duvall: 443.250 + shift w/tone 103.5
Carnation: 145.590 no shift w/ tone 103.5

If Repeater(s) fail then we go to 145.590 simplex.

Be sure and check the Net Controllers list as it might be your turn to run the Net!

Note: There will be no Net on the first Thursday of the month as that is meeting night.
