Battery backup at Costco. Worth it?
Yes, that’s a pretty good price. If you compare it to the Goal Zero devices available on Amazon. The Goal Zero 1500X is a lithium battery (better and lighter than SLA) and their inverter is 2,000 watt

Interesting Site
I really like their Signal Sticks for HT antennas. About the best reception I’ve found compared to other HT antennas and they are very light and flexible. I have three of them. 73, Paul, W7PEZ

Ham radio key to finding missing aircraft MH370
This is very cool detective work using WSPR data. I’d like to understand how he did this better. Anyone find his call sign? Thanks Robin! 73, Paul, W7PEZ

Ham radio key to finding missing aircraft MH370
It was done using the WSPR beacon network as I understand it. I'd like to know more about how he did it too. Anyone had any luck finding his call sign? Let's invite him for a club talk, LOL. 73, Paul,

Farraday cage time for equipment?
I’m thinking Yaesu 857 in an ammo box and put that in a gun safe. That should work as long as I can open the safe in the event of an EMP.
