Elmer: VP8PJ South Orkney DXpedition on Signy Island

The team left the old world just ahead of the coronavirus outbreak, but experiencing civil unrest in Puntas Arenas Chile before their ship departed, a foreshadow of what was to come in the US. The VP8PJ team successfully experienced extreme weather and near super-human physical challenges setting up camp while making hams all over the world happy with record-breaking QSO’s from Signy Island.
