The Medical Reserve Corp (MRC), is in the process of organizing a first aid, CPR and stop the bleed class. The date depends on number of things, student interest, instructors, etc. The plan is to have the class in one day. If you are interested in attending this class, please send me a return e-mail stating so, and I will forward the information to the MRC folks. Please let me know by Friday, January 27th. MRC needs to know the number of students so they can get the right number of instructors and class materials.
This is a great opportunity to take a class with people that you work with from CERT, MRC and SNOVARC.

I believe that MRC is working with Merit Emergency from Issaquah to present the classes. I have taken several classes from Merit and all of them were excellent.

Thanks, Tom, Yes, I agree – all of mine were also. His class would be fully certified. It turns out that all of our emergency workers have certification through June 30 of this year, so my plan was to get Bill to do one if May after our CERT class winds up. However, there may be a few recent CERT graduates who would like to get their qualifications. I’ll decide what to do in the next couple of days and may send an alert to the dozen or so Fall CERT graduates. I’ll cc you. If it works out, they might be able to join. Thanks, Bob

On a separate note. We had talked about getting mikro tik units for the members of the Tech Committee and EMCOMM committee. We also talked about getting some training for all of us to be able to handle simple things like setting clocks and resetting the repeater should it go wonky on us. What information do we need to order the mikro tiks?
